CompressPPT ("we", "our", "us") operates the compressppt.pro website and related online tools that allow visitors to upload and compress PowerPoint presentations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about your data.

2.1 Files You Upload
- PPT and PPTX files are temporarily stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage so we can process them.
- We keep only the metadata we need to provide the service, such as file name, size, MIME type, upload time, and a system generated file ID.
- We do not manually review presentation content except when you ask us to inspect an issue.
- Files are scheduled for automatic deletion within 30 minutes after processing is completed. In rare cases Cloudflare cache policies may delay removal, but files are never retained longer than 24 hours.
2.2 Technical and Log Data
- Browser type, operating system, preferred language, device model, and screen size.
- IP address and timestamps used for abuse prevention and security monitoring. Logs are typically deleted within 30 days.
- Error traces and performance metrics that help us keep the application reliable.
2.3 Analytics and Advertising Data
- Google Analytics (GA4) records aggregated usage patterns such as visits, traffic sources, and device categories.
- Google AdSense may set cookies or similar technologies to deliver interest based advertising in accordance with Google's own policies.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the official browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
2.4 Communications
When you contact us we process the name, email, and message content you provide so we can reply and keep track of the request.

6. Data Retention
- Uploaded files: deleted within 30 minutes after processing and never kept beyond 24 hours.
- Server logs: retained for up to 30 days for security diagnostics.
- Support conversations: removed within 12 months once the request is resolved, unless law requires a longer period.
- Aggregated analytics: stored in anonymised form for up to 12 months.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, role based access controls, and regular security updates to protect data from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
8. International Transfers
Because we rely on global cloud providers, your information may be processed outside your home country. We work only with vendors that maintain adequate safeguards and legal mechanisms for cross border data transfers.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export the personal information we hold about you. The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please let us know and we will remove it.
